Born 1977 in Kassel, photographer Marcus Bläsing plays with light and deconstructs its source until a completely new and unique work of art emerges: an image capturing the moment that cannot be captured a second time, under any circumstances.

Since 2006, Bläsing incorporates his love of music, dance, and light in his photographic works. Almost by accident, he discovered his passion for lighting as an event photographer for the electronic music event series “HOME” at the MTW Club in Offenbach. Under the direction of Pierre Blaszczyk and working as a technical producer for ROOM DIVISION, he steadily tested and developed his techniques over the years. A formative phase for Bläsing’s creative process came during his collaboration with Michael Henckus. The harmonious partnership continued in 2009 under the alias miAm and was characterized by its high productivity. These formative projects provided a variety of inspiring motifs that Bläsing would bring to the work he has showed in solo and group exhibitions.

Der 1977 in Kassel geborene Fotograf Marcus Bläsing spielt mit dem Licht und dekonstruiert die Quelle bis ein ganz neues und einzigartiges Kunstwerk daraus entsteht. Ein Bild, welches dem Moment geschuldet ist und das so kein zweites Mal festgehalten werden kann.

Seit 2006 hält Bläsing seine Liebe zur Musik, zum Tanz und zum Licht in fotografischen Arbeiten fest. Fast zufällig entdeckte er seine Passion für Licht als Eventfotograf einer renommierten Veranstaltungsreihe für elektronische Musik auf der HOME im MTW in Offenbach. Unter der Regie von Pierre Blaszczyk und durch seine Tätigkeit als technischer Produzent für ROOM DIVISION probierte er sich aus und entwickelte seine Techniken stetig weiter. Eine prägende Phase für Bläsings kreativen Schaffensprozess war die Zeit mit Michael Henckus. Die harmonierende Kollaboration wurde ab 2009 unter dem Namen MIAM fortgeführt und zeichnete sich vor allem durch seine hohe Produktivität aus. Alle Projekte boten eine Vielfalt an inspirierenden Motiven, so dass Bläsing unter anderem auf eine Vielzahl nationaler Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen zurückblicken kann.
